QuickStart Tennis

QuickStart is the new way to play for children 10 and under. Utilizing adapted equipment and age-appropriate court dimensions, QuickStart ensures a safe and positive first time tennis experience for you child, allowing them to play almost immediately. 8 & under children play on a 36-ft. court with foam balls and 10 & under children play on a 60-ft. court with low-compression balls. After players are introduced to the game they can participate in QuickStart format league play and tournaments.

Schedule

Monday and Wednesday OR Tuesday and Thursday:

Beginner (3:30 - 4:15 pm)

Intermediate (4:15 -5:00 pm)

Cost: $75/month (2 days a week) or $175/semester (3 months, 2 days a week)

Intermediate Development Academy

This is the next step after QuickStart. An excellent group for young children with limited tennis experience or older chilren in the beginning stages of tennis instruction and ready for full-court play. The focus on stroke development and technique. Players on this group participate in USTA Jr. Team Tennis and recreational competition/tournaments.

Schedule: Monday and Wednesday (5:00 - 6:30 pm) or Tuesday and Thursday (5:00 - 6:30 pm)

Cost: $120/month (2 days a week) or $300/semester (3 months, 2 days a week)

Tournament Development Academy

For players with some tournament experience but that are not quite at the elite level yet. Ideal for those wishing to take their game to the next level and advance to National Academy program. Th emphasis is on technique refinement and strategy. Ages 8-18

Schedule: Monday through Thursday (5:00 - 6:30 pm)

Cost: $200/month OR $500/3 months

International/National Academy Group

with Indoor Weekend Training in Greensboro at Piedmont Indoor

(Shuttle Service from Piedmont Indoor to Hanes Park available Tuesdays and Thursdays)**

This program will take your game to the elite level.  Players will be competing regularly at the Southern and National level.  Participants are expected to come ready to train and work hard on a daily basis.  If you want to compete with the best in the country then this is your group! Participants in this group compete regularly at National and Sectional level events.

Schedule: Monday through Friday (2:30- 6:30 pm) and Saturday and Sunday (1:30 - 3:30 pm)*

Cost: $550/month or $1,500/semester (3 months)

*Players in this group are required to attend a minimum of three (3) training sessions per week.
